Community Programs

The ImagineIF Libraries are not just for kids. People of all ages benefit from community engagement programs that help them ignite new passions, reconnect with one another, advance careers and even start new ones.

Making Montana

Making Montana connects local businesses, inventors and makers with the emerging work force, getting students excited about the job opportunities right here in the Valley and inspiring adults to challenge themselves to learn a new skill.

Interactive Exhibits and Workshops

Studies show that a meaningful connection to one’s community is a prescription for happier, healthier, longer lives. That’s why the interactive exhibits you’ll find when you walk into an ImagineIF Library are designed to spark connections. Whether you’re discussing shared inter-generational experiences around the Common Threads exhibit, sharing gardening tips with neighbors at the Seed Library, or pressing cider with the whole family, adult interactives at ImagineIF will help you discover surprising and lasting relationships.

Community Conversations

Our community is full of partners who share our mission to create, explore and learn, and the libraries reach even more patrons when we partner to dig into the issues that really matter. For example, in 2017 we partnered with FVCC to host a Fake News panel discussion where journalists from across Montana discussed how to evaluate news sources and make informed choices.
