Children's Programs

Spending time in the library does so much more than prepare children to read. It fosters brain development, emotional fluency, family bonding and a connection to the community. Libraries are part of the great start in life that every child deserves.

Summer Experience

Summer Experience encourages children and teens to read, learn and explore all summer long. Research shows that youth who participate in informal learning and read for pleasure are less likely to experience summer learning loss, are higher academic achievers and are more likely to graduate on time. That's why Summer Experience encourages children and teens to read, learn and explore all summer long.

Early Literacy Kits

Early Literacy Kits help prepare very young children to read. Through a partnership with the Flathead City-County Health Department, the KRMC NICU, local pediatricians and homeless shelters, ImagineIF delivers kits to hundreds to families of newborns that equip them to read, sing, play and engage with their children, paving the way for a lifetime of learning.

Early Literacy Classes

ImagineIF provides vital learning experiences tailored to the developmental stages of childhood. In Early Explorers, rhythm and repetition strengthen language connections in the brain. In Footloose Friends, children sing, dance, read and explore while building social and emotional skills. And Super Scholars focus on longer stories, listening, and taking turns, preparing kids for kindergarten success.
